For those of you who don't know, we are setting sail on our summer adventure on June 6th. We are making a few stops prior to Nairobi. We will stop in London for 2 nights, Mwanza Tanzania for 4 nights, finally arriving in Nairobi, Kenya on June 17th. The travel to Nairobi will include over 30 hours of flight time and a 500 mile drive before we arrive at our destination.
We will have internet access all along the way and we thought this blog would be an effective way to document and share our experiences this summer. We hope to post one or more times per week and look forward to sharing our experiences with everyone who is supporting us!

I love the both of you and am so proud of the two of you. You will be in my daily prayers as you take your trip to Africa. I'm so excited God has given you the opportunity to do this, as he has chosen the right two people to do this. Just remember us little people here in Melbeta, Ne. and plan a scrapbooking party when you return. Ryan, you and AJ can do whatever it is that you and AJ do, and we will scrapbook. LOL.
